Originally from Southern California, Lucia began her career in San Francisco as an Art Director at The Gap and Old Navy, where she was responsible for brand development and in-store marketing, while
launching the Old Navy brand.
Subsequently, she launched her own design firm, LSM Design working with start ups and clients such as Netflix and Levi Strauss. In 2002, Lucia moved to New York, where she produced award-winning work for clients such as Ecko Unlimited, Jet Blue and Vitaminwater. Later, she returned to an in-house role, serving as Vice President and Creative Director at Marc Ecko Enterprises. She has held long-term assignments at Interbrand and Lippincott, where she led large, multidisciplinary teams for clients including AT&T, Xerox, Thomson Reuters and Delta Airlines.
Recent projects have been a leadership platform for AT&T, Timex Weekender campaign launch into the social and digital media landscape, the platform design for Zynga Live and the launch and branding of an online meal kit delivery service named Chef'd, that delivers professional chef meals and the freshest ingredients to prepare them directly to your home.
She has also led major product development, packaging design, and retail assignment projects for Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Coca-Cola, Hershey’s, Diageo and L’Oreal.
While not working, Lucia can be found riding hundreds of miles on her bikes and vintage Vespas. She likes practicing Italian any chance she can get, enjoys creating neon and hand painted signage, and practicing the mindfulness of Zen Buddhism.
