Creative Director & Founder
Originally from Southern California, I began my career in San Francisco as an Art Director at The Gap and Old Navy, where I was responsible for brand development and in-store marketing, while
launching the Old Navy brand.
Subsequently, I launched her own design firm, LSM Design working with start ups and clients such as Netflix and Levi Strauss. In 2002, I moved to New York, where I produced award-winning work for clients such as Ecko Unlimited, Jet Blue and Vitaminwater. Later, I returned to an in-house role, serving as Vice President and Creative Director at Marc Ecko Enterprises. I have held long-term assignments at Interbrand and Lippincott, where I led large, multidisciplinary teams for clients including AT&T, Xerox, Thomson Reuters and Delta Airlines.
As a creative innovator, I have successfully blended strategy, design, and storytelling to deliver unique brand experiences for companies of all sizes. I believe that successful branding should communicate, engage, and deeply connect with consumers. With every project I take on, I start with a deep dive into the core DNA of a business, balancing the brand and the company's business objectives simultaneously. With consistent change and evolution to the brand, I am able to disrupt the industry standards to help businesses differentiate from the rest.
While not working, I can be found riding hundreds of miles on my bikes and vintage Vespas. I like practicing Italian any chance I can get, enjoy creating neon and hand painted signage, and practicing the mindfulness of Zen Buddhism.
